About us
“Academic histology laboratory” Ltd. is an independent histology laboratory that performs histological examination of human-derived material, provides consultative services and participates in research. The clients of the laboratory are outpatient and inpatient medical institutions that perform operations and take biopsy materials. The laboratory is equipped with modern and appropriate technologies, which ensure the fastest and highest quality preparation and examination results. The laboratory is staffed by suitably qualified and certified staff.
“Academic histology laboratory” Ltd. has developed, implemented and maintains a quality management system in accordance with LVS EN ISO 15189 “Medical Laboratories. Quality and Competence Requirements”. The laboratory is the first accredited histology laboratory in Latvia. Laboratory regularly participates in a quality monitoring program in Pathohistology organized by Labquality from Finland.
